Miguel Romero began the startup in 2014, but he had been thinking about creating one since when he was 20 and lived in Germany.
He resigned from a decently-paid banking industry job and turned to his great passion: nature and mountains.
Together with his two partners – Manfredi and Fran – he works over hours to pursue his dream.

NoSiesting is no resting or do not take a nap. In Spain, the tradition of the siesta – nap in English, is one of the most enduring stereotypes.
We wanted to play with it and encourage people to stay active and do hiking outdoors instead of taking a siesta nap while they are on holidays. That’s why we named us ‘NoSiesting’.
