Natural pools in El Burgo for a day hike with children

In fact, this area offers beautiful landscapes and scenery walks with small rivers and natural pools along the way, which makes it an ideal day hike for family and friends wanting to explore more than just what meets the eye.
- Location: El Burgo, 41 miles west of Málaga airport.
- Length: 2.9 miles
- Difficulty Rating: Easy
- Best For: Exploring a fantastic landscape
- Dogs: Unleashed
We led in a group including two children (11 and 8) and we made a wonderful day out of this walk. Children this age can walk longer distances and enjoy dips in the pools along the way. The summer can be hot but it gives you the chance to bathe and get dry quickly so you do not need much to carry with you. To be sure we would say that these walks are possible for children from the age of 6 or 7 but maybe not younger.
